Raitng Guideline
Soliditet’s credit rating scale facilitates clearcut decisions. And creates a professional impression.
We rate a company’s credit worthiness. The accuracy of our credit rating system helps you say yes to business, and no to loss. The credit rating is based on official information pooled from a number of sources, including the Swedish Companies Registration Office, The Swedish Tax Agency, Statistics Sweden, the Swedish Enforcement Authority, and the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority. All information is analysed against a number of decision rules, and presented in the form of a rating ranging from AAA, the best, to C, the worst.
AAA – Highest Credit Worthiness
Only limited liability companies can hold the AAA (triple A) rating. Furthermore, the company must have been trading for at least ten years, have a turnover exceeding SEK 2 million, and be able to show financial ratios well in excess of the industry average.
AA – Good Credit Worthiness
AA (double A) is the highest rating which can be held be a trading partnership, limited partnership, or sole trader enterprise. To attain this rating, limited companies must have a turnover exceeding SEK 1 million, and be able to show financial ratios in excess of the industry average.
A – Credit Worthy
To attain the A rating (single A) a company must be able to show financial ratios in line with, or close to the industry average.
AN – Newly started companies
Assigned to newly started companies with no negative information to report.
B – Credit against security
Assigned to companies whose financial ratios lie below the industry average, and companies with negative information on record.
C – Credit advised against
Assigned to companies experiencing considerable difficulties paying their accounts, whose share capital has been exhausted, or who are involved in bankruptcy undertakings, in addition to those whose financial ratios lie well below the industry average. The C rating is also assigned to companies with serious auditor remarks.
(-) – Rating not applicable
Ratings are not assigned to companies in cases where important information is unavailable, or out-of-date. Nor are ratings assigned to inactive companies.
